Skiddins
I now have a Novak XXL receiver for my touring car, I already have a Nitro buggy which uses the Futaba Skysport 6YG 40MHz FM tranny and the receiver that came with it. The trouble is, with the electric car, when I use the Skysport both channels at the receiver end are controlled with the right hand stick on the tranny. Is there any way to get the throttle back over to the left hand stick (channel 4?). If not, can anyone recommend a good 2 channel 40MHz FM stick tranny. I've only just got the receiver so I'd rather not get rid of it. Will a 3 channel stick tranny be correct for use with a 2 channel receiver. Thanks Skiddins
mth
you could use a 2chnl tranny on a 14channel reciever...or a 14 channel tranny on a 2chnl reciever...makes no difference. how much you wanting to pay for a reciever? look on ebay....search for a Ko propo KR297fz.....just search for KO reciever
Tamiyacowboy
hi skiddins the skysport you have is it the lcd display ? ok the right hand stick is mixed im sure to use channel four on your rx/tx plug the esc into this one. looking at the handset see if it has a mixing switch this is used for V tail planes and heli's and could have been switched on by accident if your left fore/ aft (forward back) stick is channel four the esc will need to be plugged into this channel this should help. i think what you have done is used channel 2 as if it was a 2 channel transmiter and not a 6 channel tranny/rx. little tip mate plug a servo into channel four with a rx pack for power then slide the left stick fore and aft (forward back what happens? does the servo respond ? if yes problem sloved if no try other channels and disable the mixings function it will explain in the manual how to do this your rx and tx will work it just needs to be programed with correct settings Hope this helps you out TC Edited April 16, 2005 by Tamiyacowboy
