kieran
At the moment im getting very little time out of my batteries I have Street Racer 1500s and only last a short time. Does anyone know how much better/longer the Modelsport Max 3300 are or could you recommend a better battery for around the same price? Thanks

Nick
Modelsport Max 3300s will be great for what you need, and will last alot longer. You can get better ones cheaper, but this requires you to solder it together.
kieran
can you tell me more about the better ones cheaper, solderings not a problem caus i can do that at school.
Nick
http://www.rc-mushroom.com They do real cheap cells at about $4.10 for 1 GP3300 - a normal pack of 6 would cost around $27, which is £16! So 2 packs would be around £34 delivery is only about £7 (I think) and comes next day. You then need battery bars, wire (12AWG) and connectors all available at http://www.modelsport.co.uk a battery jig would also help you solder. Nick
Keiren - If I was you, buy some pre-built batteries, like the Modelsport Max Packs 3300 you suggested. They will do the job well. It is fiddly to solder batteries up and I am sure the solder and Irons at school are not capable for doing a proper job.

Harvey
And also i suspect his car does not accept saddle packs, so making up his own stick pack will be even more fiddly!! I should just buy a ready built pack. Dont modelsport sell reedy 3300nimh for about £30? Then theres the sakura 3000 at £19. Ok, not a great battery - but will be a big improvement on your 1500. But yeah, make sure your charger is Nimh compatible
