Colt
I think it might be one of the screws at the base of the car, but its me ur hearing from lol
doom56
Na wont be the engine mound as its the gears on the shafts not on the engine The bells are ok just that one gear moves
mth
does it still change gear? on my G4 and ntc3 both spur gears were fairly loose while the car wasn't moving...but then again i had centax clutches on both...dunno if that makes a difference. kevinb456
well the only 2-speed car ive ever owned is my LST. the other 2 nitros ive had were both single speed, and my other car was an electric. so from experience with an LST which is probably very different - losi designed it so that it wobbled, but it didnt really matter because when it got moving it self-centered anyway because of the rotation. has it always wobbled? is it just the 2nd spur and not the first? have you taken it apart to find out why its wobbling? doom56
no it started wobbling just before xmas now and nope does not get any loser then that as it is so i guesing a pit is ether snaped or missing
Delboy
If you move the engine clutch bell away from the 2 speed gears, does the second gear spin freely on the shaft? the idea is that it shouldn't be connected to the shaft until the rpm is high enough for the centrifugal clutch to engage that gear. The 2nd gear on my CEN wobbles alot when not engaged. The inside of the gear may have become worn allowing an increase in play? presuming the gears are plastic. 300ZXZ31
the gears on my 4 tech move side to side along the shaft a bit but not really wobbeling.
mth
only thing i can suggest doom is to get an exploded diagram off traxxas website, take your clutch apart and look for any parts that are broken/missing and replace them if there are any missing. or if there are any parts severely worn then replace them. mth
the clutch isn't just the clutch bell on the engine, the clutch is also like the sour gears and the clutch system in there.
