Very much oil from pull start

Recommended Posts

Probably leaking from starter shaft which is in the middle of the backplate. If it's running ok then dont worry, as the seal is not 100%. Otrherwise replace backplate.

Its sort of normal for fuel oil to get pushed through the starter shaft bearing and as above if working ok dont worry about it

my nitros used to do that as well

  • 2 weeks later...

Some is to expected, pull cord often ended up quiet greasy....

but for it to he ""flowing""

it's gonna be a worn starting shaft

missing/worn seals

or if the backplate has a one way setup(bearing) in it. then then it's likely that

Oh okay I also have a bad clutch I already ordered it but does it change the idle ass well

Sounds like a gross air leak

Pirate air making the idle mess up / mess your tune up

A Knackered clutch won't affect tune, it'll be the clutch slips easier and the engine screams as a result
