Greetings 🙂

Been looking into a rally car for a bit but nothing is giving me ohhh buy it now!!! feeling.

I have seen these on modelsport for £239, thinking it would be a cool project to turn into a full blown rally car. says its a rally car but seems all on road marketing.

Body not really my liking but when its painted up and stickered up looks well, think I can get different body's for it as well 🤔

Any one had any experience with these things? Hobao seem like a good brand plus 1/8th scale is spot on for the areas I run.

Thinking 6s system 2000kvish motor run on 4s and 6s if I wanna slam into tress and near miss squirrel's running around the woods 😃.

Came across this interesting read and looks like some upgrades to increase shock travel etc https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/102249-18-rallycross-mendip-rc-

raceway/ . When I get more time I will get stuck into the post see what the guy does to it.

I had the GT a while back and really regret selling it, i was trying speed runs so when that ended i had no need for the GT, what i will say is mine got run over by an old twonk in a VW Tiguan and survived with badly cracked shell and 2 damaged wheels......pretty darn tough

@Partydaz Yeah, I think the GT shares a lot of parts with the SS/Cage buggy. The shock shafts are H90030 and the springs are the GT rear springs which are H90078. As I mentioned, I never got round to fitting the front shock tower, but I think the required part number is H90039.
