Ripmax Futaba M Series Radio Gear - Do People Buy Them?

Cactus

Recommended Posts

Hello, so I have this M Series kit and I wonder do people buy them and what are they worth?

I'm not using eBay anymore because of their silly antics with money etc. You lot know your stuff, any info is helpful.

If it is sellable I'll put an ad up in the for sale section but I have no idea on price. I've been told number from £100-£400 so far, I'd be shocked if that's the case, I could buy a few old Nitros to get going with that sort of doe LOL!

It works, the charger was PAT tested for some reason in 2023 🤷🏻‍♂️ Lord only knows why.

Even the little protective film is on the power meter still.

Photo's attached.

Thanks you lot!

Some collectors may be interested but unfortunately they don't have much value even in almost new condition with the box and paperwork, honestly I'd say it's only worth between 30 and 50, I have a nos 50th anniversary ff6 and a challenger both have so little value because they have been superseded technologically

That's the thing, there is one on eBay now for £150 but I don't think he'll get that.

It's a small market really ain't it!

It's tiny now especially for the 70s stuff as the ones who want them have them and then those older ones who stashed them have inflated the prices to stupid levels for ropey examples,

The old radios are really only good for decoration or an extra talking point, I did start collecting radios 20 years ago (when you got full old radio sets for under £10) but they just collected dust as they died so I decided to only get the computer ones that have some use (unless it's for a specific project and the period radio would look good on the side like the Star wars droid I'm planning)
