bunnie
Seen a few people post these on here the last few weeks so naturally got me looking into getting one. Didn't know there was such a thing apart from on my charger which is painfully slow. Anyway from what I can see none of then have a balance port. Is that normal? Is that even safe for the cells? Just trying to gain some more info before I get one as its something that will really come in handy and save a lot of time esp with the UK weather as it loves to rain once you charged up
MrCake
I am maybe one of the people you saw and it doesn't need a balance port as it relies on manual input of how many cells. So for a 2s battery you select the 2s option and the discharger knows it needs to stop at 7.6v (3.8v x 2). The downside of this method is that there is a risk that cells could become unbalanced but a healthy battery shouldn't get too far out and your next balance charge would soon sort that out. That was my main worry about the cells been out but tbf if any of my lipos even seem "out of sync" I get rid of them. How you finding the discharger so far? MrCake
Yeah I always assumed that if there was a massive difference from normal use then the resistance inside is out of whack and it probably should be binned. Not used it in anger yet but currently charging 6 x batteries tonight which will need the discharge tomorrow if plans go awry.

I wish there was dual one for the amount of lipos I have either way I'm sure it will help me out big time 👍
Partydaz
These seem like a cracking thing to have. I always charge up more lipos than I need, only so much high speed fun my aging brain can take before I have had enough 😵 . One of these bad bois will stop me burning through the left over packs to get them to storage before charging 😃
