wombat
Hi, dont know about the gens ace charger but i am currently using a skyrc t100, and thinking about another charger to go with it. If i do get one it will be the skyrc t200 that you mention, The t100 is simple to use and very versatile 👍
Partydaz
Oh I like how the gensace one has : - Synchronous output, 2-in-1 Fast-charging, guessing that means you can get full 200w out of one channel for if you got a big ol'mah lipo 😀. Does the Skyrc charger have that have as I don't see it on the spec sheet 🤔 And the gensace can be used with a external power supply for more power if you ever wanted to faff about with that. Not much difference in the chargers apart from that only downside to the gensace is its white so good luck keeping that clean 😬 Edited January 9 by Partydaz
TommyC
If you are going to be charging 4s large capacity batteries you might want more than 100w per channel. I got this quad charger which does 4x 125w or 2x 250w on AC power. https://www.hobbyrc.co.uk/hota-f6-quad-channel-1000w-acdc-charger or there’s this dual one at half the price. Only does 2x 100w though. https://www.hobbyrc.co.uk/hota-d6-pro-dual-channel-acdc-charger Edited January 9 by TommyC
Stormbringer
The Gensace looks good but no experience of them I do have 2 or 3 SkyRC chargers and found them to be reliable
wolfie1
I have this charger and use it to charge 4x 4s 10000mah packs at a time, probably takes less than 2 hours to charge to full from LVC cutting out https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/skyrc-t400q-ac-dc-charger-1346891

Discharge rate is **** but I didn't get them for that and they tiny things as well compared to some of the other ones I looked at.

A lot of people say its a bit slow?

D6 pro is a bit sluggish but I find its fine the S6 is smooth and responsive, It can be a fiddly to navigate till you get use to it. The displays are nice and bright and the colour schemes for each charge function helps when your doing a lot of lipos. D6 pro has fan on all the time but its not crazy loud like my old traxxas charger and the S6 the fan only comes on when it needs it think that's because its got a whopping big heatsink built into it.
