Is the UDR still a live

Recommended Posts

****ing love my UDR 🥰 treat it right and you'll find it's a very rewarding drive, turn the gyro off and it gets more fun trying tame it on 6s.

Make sure you check the rear diff pinion gear every now and then as being a locked diff it will wear out with use even driving on loose ground. I go through two a year 🤣 . I drive it scale no big jumps and stick to pure off road it's the best handling truck I own nothing quite like drifting it between the trees in the woods or seeing it rip over the sands 🫡

Shoe-goo or what ever you do to re-enforce the body as it's paper thin and will crack if you look at it funny.

If the locked rear diff gets on your nerves traxxas do a open

Rear diff.

The RPM front bumper is a brilliant thing to have it helps to protect it way better than stock one.

I do wonder if the UDR will get any kind of refresh from Traxxas in the near future like they have done for other models?

No idea whether the current cage/body setup is critical to how it handles but I personally would love to see an updated design of how the body attached/removes to make it better for cleaning/maintenance.

Nah its not scale then it you don't have to take out 12 screws for the body and 4 for the top brace and another 4 to get the little men out and don't forget the 9 to get the bottom plate off to clean all the crap that gets under it 😆. Scale = pain to maintain 😄

I was like that once then I got a UDR 😂, Body lives with 6 screws in it now rest is needed so it doesn't flop about like a pancake. It is easy to clean when you get use to it 😄
