Where do you keep your rc's

Hi all hoping for some ideas here. During summer I keep my rc's in a garden shed, but due to cold/damp am going to put them in plastic storage boxes on top of wardrobes in the spare room, as last winter I had some tyres/foams freeze solid as the foams must have been damp. Storing them like this will be a pain when I want to use them, plus the other half isn't happy about it as she uses the spare room as a sewing room 😕

Back of the garage with the giant ****ing spiders that seem to love making the wheels or under the body shells there home 🙃. Now it's winter seems they are all coming into the garage...I kid you not two of them are not of this earth they that big and if they wanna make the revo 2.0 home they can have it for now 😃.

Not had anything freeze up yet this will be the third year in the garage, got me thinking about all my wheels and foams that are sitting in open bags I best get them boxed up or something 😅.

At the moment, theyre on racking in the spare room, and the Lipo's are in Bat Safe's in the disused fireplace in the kitchen. My daughter is moving into the 'R/C Room' soon though, so Ill maybe sell some and move the shelf queens to my parents house =/

I keep mine in my workshop/garage, this time of year after i have had them out and hosed them down i bring them into the house overnight and leave them on the floor in the kitchen by the radiator to minimise drying time so stuff doesnt rust, i keep all my batteries in an ammo box in the study so they dont get too cold

Most of my stuff is stored in an old boiler room. But it's organized in a way that makes the stuff tricky to remove and put back and so I very rarely use it. I have contemplated leaving stuff in the garden shed because there is more space and it would be much easier to grab stuff. But I'm not sure how electronics fare with the weather.

I have a walls worth of space in our bedroom as there isnt anywhere else for it to go, shed is solid with junk (on my better weather list) the overspill and empty box storage is in the loft. I would absolutely love a dedicated hobby room where i can close a door on it all when needed.

@TommyC, wow that Losi is some way up there!! Are you a part time power lifter too??  Seriously though thats some weight to be lifting up or down there mate.

great storage idea though, looks proper :good:

The losi doesn’t get out much to be honest. Especially since I’ve had a touch of tennis elbow! I do have to get it over my head with my arms locked out to get it up there 😂

I copied the storage idea. From someone on here I think.
