During summer I keep my rc's in a garden shed, but due to cold/damp am going to put them in plastic storage boxes on top of wardrobes in the spare room, as last winter I had some tyres/foams freeze solid as the foams must have been damp. Storing them like this will be a pain when I want to use them, plus the other half isn't happy about it as she uses the spare room as a sewing room 😕 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now it's winter seems they are all coming into the garage...I kid you not two of them are not of this earth they that big and if they wanna make the revo 2.0 home they can have it for now 😃. Not had anything freeze up yet this will be the third year in the garage, got me thinking about all my wheels and foams that are sitting in open bags I best get them boxed up or something 😅. wolfie1 Posted November 6 Share Posted November 6 I keep mine in my workshop/garage, this time of year after i have had them out and hosed them down i bring them into the house overnight and leave them on the floor in the kitchen by the radiator to minimise drying time so stuff doesnt rust, i keep all my batteries in an ammo box in the study so they dont get too cold Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I too have mine in the living room albeit only temporarily, the collection has grown over the last few years tho and the Mrs isn't too happy about it lol. But it's organized in a way that makes the stuff tricky to remove and put back and so I very rarely use it. I have contemplated leaving stuff in the garden shed because there is more space and it would be much easier to grab stuff. But I'm not sure how electronics fare with the weather. Posted November 18 Share Posted November 18 I have a walls worth of space in our bedroom as there isnt anywhere else for it to go, shed is solid with junk (on my better weather list) the overspill and empty box storage is in the loft. I would absolutely love a dedicated hobby room where i can close a door on it all when needed. @TommyC, wow that Losi is some way up there!! Are you a part time power lifter too??
