Shame not a single photo giving an idea of size or scale?

It says it is 1/10th? Hardly a mini is it? Or am I missing something obvious?

In the info above fella :good:

Looks similar to the hpi savage xs from the limited photos

Yeah, i was thinking along those lines, that and the 1/16th Traxxas chassis.

i have to say, im incredibly tempted to sell my huge Xmaxx for couple of these for me and the lad, trying to gauge the size of them and if my minds right, it should be perfect to chuck in the back of car just in case……

so……

I was hoping there was already something out there in the Traxxas range that would fit? Not got much Traxxas stuff myself so don’t know how likely that is?

I’ve got the 3200kv 3665 in my senton and it won’t fit in the mini maxx. The 3300kv 3652 is more than enough!

if anyone is after one for xmas my local has a black one on the shelf.

Stick some aftermarket or Traxxas hardened steel gears and off you go, couple that to a Hobbywing max10 and 3200kv motor should be an absolute blast!!

I think my plans going to be a Max 10 G2 Sensored + 3300kv Combo. Geared up on 2S. Should be a bit peppier and smoother than stock, but still useable and reliable. 3S 50mph small scale us daft IMO, especially when its so uncontrollable.

In what way? The Mini Maxx is a completely new platform, so itll just be upgrades specific to that from now on. In terms of electronics, the VXL system is 'perfect' but as we are seeing, diffs dont seem to like it.

It uses 1/10 components. The centre diff I have on order looks very similar to the one for the 4x4 stampede/slash etc but a different gear or it. Perhaps there’s a diff out there that might have some common parts with the mini Maxx?

So the diffs are crap in them? Tomley blew three in 1 and a half packs after fitting the vxl system in one

Appears so 😕

Although Ive never ever saw an R/C below 10th scale that needs 3S or 40/50mph. Theyre too small and light. 3S Mini Revo's were pointless. I think sticking to 2S is the key to enjoying these. Not for a second sticking up for this. Traxxas blatantly advertise that these can run VXL 3S. Its ridiculous that they've put such pony diffs in when they advertise the 3S System. You know its bad when MSM doesnt end up doing it in his video.... Although I think he has deleted that video now?
