FTX Ravine - Wheels Fouling Chassis

Athers

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, out of the box my new Ravine catches it's wheels on the chassis arms on full lock...not just a rub, wheel actually stops rotating.

This is in FWS, 4WS and RWS.

Can anyone kindly advise if it is possible to adjust end-points please?

Best.

hi and welcome to the forum

have a wee look online for the rc manual that should tell if there is an end point adjustment you can make

if you cant find manual try repositioning the steering into a different hole on the servo horn

I had this problem on my ravine.

You can limit the steering with the end point settings like @Stormbringer said. It's one of the rotary switches on the controller.

You can change the tyres to injora pin or xhx tyres. They are way better than the stock ravine tyres and quite narrow.

Thank you both. I did have a browse before posting but couldn't find anything, so steephill, I'm grateful fir the link.

It's my lads first proper crawler so not looking to upgrade at this stage, especially as it's pretty competent out of the box!

Thanks again.

Update from the shop who have spoken to FTX....

I have spoken to them, and there is not a method to stop the sevos , or adjust end points on this transmitter.

They are aware that it rubs on full lock.

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
