Hehe, I bought the files for that with the intention of a build over the summer but things have not panned out this year. Glad to see one being done, and should be ace as you always pull it outa the bag dude!

I was in two minds about doing a 3D printed body build but I've decided to bite the bullet and go for it.

I've got a vision in my mind how I want it to look, just need to pull it off now haha.

Do you think you will get round to printing and building one in the future of you have the files?

I’m not really looking forward to the 3d printed body part but my rat rod doesn’t look terrible so I’m a bit braver about it now. I also got a Mouse sander at Xmas for the very purpose of less sanding on 3d prints. I’ve read brushing with acetone can soften the layer grain but I’ve not tried it yet. I’m fairly sure you’ll handle it pretty well man.

Yeah, I think I probably will, I bought a few sets of G20/Vandura files to get all the parts/years I wanted. I’ve got most of the stuff for it bar the body and electrics. Going a different direction than you, fancied a Quigley 4x4 style van on the CMax at the moment but I can be fickle with direction early on in a project, I take the odd notion of a Juggernaut based leaf monster from time to time😂

I’ve got a scale-ish runner build on the go to keep me occupied for the moment as I’ve got life being a bit busy so it’s dropped priority as I don’t have the attention span to do a good job. It’ll come back round soon enough.

Its good to hear you will you will still see a van build take place even if it is low down the priority lost.

A 4x4 version sounds good and the CMAX would lend itself nicely to it.

Progress has been extremely slow on the van build.

I think I have chassis/mechanics pretty much locked down.

The girth of the punisher driveshaft is a tad overkill but it fits and the price was right too.

Shoehorning in the SSD motor cover took a bit of effort due to the close proximity to the steering linkage but it works minus the front cover plate and the water pump.

I'm hoping the RC4WD radiator will attach nicely to the servo bracket and look nice through the open grill.
