Lancashire Lass with a Landie says hello!

Recommended Posts

Right, new rx arrived a day early aaaaand we still have the same steering issue. 🥲

So it may well be the servo. But that doesn’t explain why it works with the old reciever and transmitter without any issues.

Would changing the BEC voltage on the ESC from 6 to 7.4 do anything to help? Or would that risk frying something else? At a bit of a loss here. (EDIT - tried increasing BEC, no change)

Right, more playing around with it and managed to get the steering pretty equal on both sides by changing the sub trim by 31. But I’m not sure if we’ve just made the right move less to compensate for the left, but my dad seems to think its fine so will just see how it goes on? So we may have ‘fixed’ it.

So the other reciever may have been fine as well 😅

Hi again, when I bought my sca1e coyote about 3 years ago I remember there was something in the manual about changing the servo and voltage output from the esc, but can't find the manual, so as you've changed the esc could be worth fitting a better servo. Forgot to mention earlier that on 2 of my crawlers I have replaced the tyre foams with hair buns to prevent problems with water.

Hope this helps 🙂
