Another one just for fun 😄

To start off I go buggy racing with the typhon and jumpshot every Tuesday, sometimes with a bit of rock crawling afterwords, then every other Sunday rock crawling with buggy racing in between, all at the local club, plus random other times when I can get out

Plus I've got a basic crawler course in the back garden

For me its def weather dependant, usually always try to go out at the weekend, in the evenings when i dont have any home related jobs to do i use my basic 1/10 track in the back garden, there is 1 jump at the moment and its laid out with them flat cone things, when the mood takes me i will go up the track from my house with the crawler to do some trailing or somewhere else by car nearby

When it's sunny one day in the week and at the weekend I'll get out both days if I can. Morning is best so I can have a blast then got rest of the day to get stuff done or if I got nothing on I'll go out in the afternoon before tea time. It helps break the day up for me plus it's super hot in my bedroom in summer like 28 degrees plus and I cannot game or paint as that's where all my other hobby stuff is 😅,I really need to buy a AC unit one day 🫠

One day (possibly two days) last year, one day so far this year. I should slow down to avoid RC burnout.

After scratching my midlife crisis itch I have bought a nitro car and am currently using one of my lads, who is 11, as an excuse to get out and smash about whenever possible…and on the prowl for other cars ‘for him’. The wife loves it because she has a quieter life for a cpl of hours and I get to come home with oily fingers and ringing in my ears from the angry bee on wheels

Not at all at the moment...as we are moving house very soon, all my "toys" are boxed up and are in storage!!  I don't get to run them very often anyway but, l miss looking at them 🤩

At the moment most weekends over the park with my son.I bought two ftx apaches so we can race each other with exactly the same cars to keep him interested.I found if I take my x maxx or the like he wouldn't be into it as I would be much faster and wheeling everywhere so having identical cars has done the trick and gets us out more.

At the moment, once or twice a year. Having a baby and working six days per week most weeks, doesn't allow much time for hobbies, unfortunately. I hope that in the future, I can go out at least once or twice a month. Maybe even with my family from time to time.

Once upon a time I would go out every day after work and on weekends. Quite often, with friends. I would meet a fair few people too. If only I'd known that those were the golden days of the hobby..

and the 2 rally cars almost never due to no place to run them

I'm having difficulty finding some off road terrain for my TT-02 rally car also.  I've run it in car parks and such plenty of times now.  My usual off-road bashing place it's really suited to a 1/10th rally though.  The search continues...

Parental Life, Kids and Life come first before Dad needs....

it's part of life, your needs go to the bottom

The grass needs cutting! The garage needs clearing out.... oh kids need taking somewhere.... ontop of work....

never ends...

You do know you can buy an rc lawnmower? The icing on the cake is it runs on tracks, I have been thinking about buying 1!

@Skyesgaming and I have decided against kids.  There are already too many hoomans running about the place as it is.  We'll stick to her cats for now and maybe a dawg once they're gone

For me after losing my parents at a young age i have been some what reluctant to have kids knowing what they would have to go through, as i have gotten older its bothered me more than i would have thought our family tree will come to an abrupt end as my older brother doesnt have kids and sister has a different surname and we are just too old now as we would be in our 60’s when a child reached 16 years old. That being said folks that we know that have kids all say that they are a pain in the ass, so i suppose it is what it is and we will enjoy the hand we have been dealt

It's not just that.  Our circumstances just aren't allowing it either.  She lives 3000 miles away from me in Canada at the minute and although the plan is to move her here at some point there's no guarantee on that.  There's also a big age gap between us and I hate the thought of something happening to me and me leaving her 1-3 kids to deal with on her own.

Im 37, I never ever ever wanted kids…... Had absolutely no interest in kids or knowledge of what to do with kids. Im an only child, and none of my mates really have kids so no experience with them.

However, My daughter was born in January….. Its by far the best and most significant thing ever. My life and priorities have completely changed. My whole world revolves around her. Every decision I make now is because of her. She is my absolute world, and being a Dad is the hardest but best thing to ever happen to me. Its ridiculously hard at times, and I havent a clue what Im doing most of the time. Im so lucky to have an amazing girlfriend who is doing a brilliant job. Its a massive strain financially (we now want to live on just my income) but its such a life changing period that I wouldnt change for anything 😄 I worship her!
