Battery connector adaptors

Recommended Posts

Used different types of adapters over the years and never had a problem. Only one I would never use is a tamiya to another because tamiya connectors have a low current rating and depending on the power requirements of your setup you could overload it.

Only adapter I've had trouble with was EC5/Deans...it melted after a few runs ! XT90 to EC5 should be OK 👍

Funnily enough thats the only adapter i melted, trying to run a 2s battery down in a 3s typhon, the wires melted out of the deans connector

I have also melted a deans connector some how the battery molded to the esc I did eventually get it unstuck with a bit of elbow grease and persistence but it did take hours
