recheck the drive train is running smoothly with no binding as you should be able to use a lipo in a brushed setup

it seems the added on motor fan was slightly dislodging the motor position and also an over tightened slipper clutch were the cause of all of my issues!

 

I had almost given up but your advice saw me through.

This weekend I thought after discovering my add on motor fan was the cause of all my spur threading I thought I’d give the brushless another go. And it works perfectly!!!  Loving it again and using the Bugsta on our road it slides around almost like a drift car (which has now put that on my radar as a possible next purchase, along with the new 1/10 MJX)

just remember to keep checking everything after a few runs to ensure nowt is slipping out of place

 

Typically mesh dropping off is all fine the suddenly it's chews sumet in a split second!
