X Maxx question's

Hello 🙂

I am amassing a few 4s packs for my RCs now and I see that as a sign that I should get a 8s X maxx 😆 .

What are the run times you dudes get ? lipos I use are 4s 5000mha.

What version to get or are they all built like tanks ? I see these have been out for a while now and if traxxas have done different versions, I will probably be getting one second hand and doing it up so can always mod while its taken apart.

Just need to measure up the spare space in the garage to see if one will fit 😅

Cheers :good:

I get around 15 mins out of a 5000mah. Theyre power hungry. Theres only really two versions, the 6S which came out in 2016, but wasnt out for long. The 8S then came out a few months after and was better in every way. Theyve made changes to the X Maxx over the years, but nothing major. As long as you get an 8S model youll be happy. Theyre not tanks per se, but when you consider theyre a huge truck capable of 40mph+, they’re very strong for what they are.

As mentioned, 8s model and you will be laughing.

Depending on what you are doing 15-20 mins (less if you are doing full on speed runs)

When you take into consideration the trucks size, speed and the general abuse it can take you can't help but be impressed.

In terms of space - Mount it on the wall 😄 that's what I have done in mine works a charm.

Thank you for the info chaps 🙂. That wall mount sounds like a good idea if I cannot fit the thing under the work bench.
