FTX Kanyon V2 Spur Gear Options

Hi, everyone.

 

Bit of a random question. I have a FTX Kanyon and I am looking to fit a smaller spur gear to it. I want some where around 60 teeth. Does anyone know of a good match for this truck please? Am I right in thinking standard is 70 tooth 48p? I'm just not sure on the size of the bore.

Would it be easier to source a slightly larger pinion gear instead?

Would have the same effect to the speed.

Was thinking same myself but you got there 1st

I have got some other pinion gears, think I can go up to 27 teeth but so wondering about bringing the spur down too?

i would try it in 1 or 2 tooth increases and see how it affects it 

upping the gearing can increase the heat in esc or motor or both

To be fair, it is a crawler and designed to go slowly and crawl.
