Hey All! A return to RC

Hey all,

 

Long time RC enthusiast here. Originally started out with a HPI savage 25 as my first RC car and then moved into the rallycross racing scene for the best part of 11 years met some great people and travelled to a few different countries and won some races (Thanks Kyosho) but with time and work the racing drifted away.

 

Fast forward to having a son who is now 6 and likes big bashing trucks I guess it was inevitable that I would return to the hobby scene.

 

So to the hobby shop we went and got two trucks, He got the outcast 4s I chose another brand (don't hate me) and we took them out and had a great time. Then on eBay the larger scale of mine came up at a price that was too good to refuse so I got it and he had that little look in his eye... Today an outcast exb 8s arrived for him and he doesn't know yet so looking forward to ripping up this weekend.

 

Anyhow that's enough waffle, I love the fact there is a forum I much prefer these to the discords, and FB groups of the world now (showing my age I guess) I look forward to sharing pics/videos and asking questions I am sure

It's great, and I am grateful that we can both do something together that puts a smile on both faces.
