Recommendations for polycarbote spray paints

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have been using the tamiya PS spray paints for the last two body's I've done but looking for different brands to try and see if they are as good as the tamiya stuff I have used before.

My LHS stocks Core RC and Tamiya paints. Core RC has some nice colours not sure if they are any good 😅.

Core RC make the best lexan paint imo. they are much more user friendly and better vfm than Tamiya PS

I agree. I've used the Core RC paint for a few years now. Good value, good results and some nice colours.

Cheers 😀 . If weather holds out this weekend I will pop out and get some, just need to pick my colours. First time painting a pre cut body ( Traxxas Maxx ) like how all I got to do is clean and spray. No staring at the arches getting them look good another bonus also not finding bits of sharp plastic in the house for weeks 😄.

@Partydaz traxxas maxx is a cool truck👍.

Get some pictures up when you get the paint job done👍

I use a cardboard box as a spray booth, helps stop overspray getting out and unwanted things getting in.

Will do 🫡. This is the state of it at the moment it's hard to tell because of all the mud on it but it's kept together with unicorn wishes and duct tape. I did shoe glue it but after 2 1/2 years it's had enough 😝
