Looking good! It really doesn’t look ‘budget’…it could easily be a 1.5K build to the untrained eye.

Yeah mate, I've seen his channel. He has some good crawlers.

Chopping the body has to be done on a lcg rig. I never like doing it, but it usually ends up going that way 😂

It seems every build I’m planning right now involves copping up the body. 
And that poor Capra…if it knew what I’m planning it’d bolt its wheels back on and drive itself off into the sunset 😂

Got the paint done and started to build an ssd diamond rear axle. Adds a bit of weight to the rear.

Got most of the rhino yue one chassis built. 

I had to use desert lizard shocks for now. I ordered some rhino shocks from aliexpress. The seller marked them as dispatched and a day later told me they are out of stock and I have to apply for a refund??? 

Always pay with PayPal on aliexpress and the other Chinese ebay sites. I've had this happen before. 

I'm soldering the motor and esc and hopefully getting this ready for a test soon. 

The quality and finish of this chassis kit is very good. All the hardware is top quality. 

There are instructions online from rhino, very clear with good picture's and exact measurements. 

Annoyingly I only found this when I had half built the bloody thing.

Got the rhino running. 

Quite a capable crawler. Makes the crawler course look easy. 

I had the rear lower links on backwards 😂

You’re doing a cracking job on those, even with links on back to front (never done that myself, honest Guv) 😂

Think you’ll definitely be needing some harder lines to test those out.

It still needs a few tweeks. I've ordered carbon beadlocks and before proline are getting 70 quid off me I'm trying the Injora 2.2 comp tyres. 

I'll get some videos of it going up and down pretty much wherever it wants.

Fitted a SSD rear diamond and changed the wheels and tyres. 

I've got the diamond front but I'm not sure if the servo mount will fit.

Loving the wheel n tyre combo. Those tyres remind me of the pin type I used in 1/10 buggy racing back in the early 90’s…yes, I’m that old 😬

How do they perform?

Yeah those pin tyres are very grippy. 

I tested them a few days ago in the wet and they still had lots of grip, pleasantly surprised.

Definitely, Proline ibex are 70 odd quid a set! They do them in 2.2, so I've ordered a set to try on the rhino.

Picked up another lcg chassis from aliexpress to chassis swap a lcg build. 

£28 delivered, comes with aluminium skid, side plates, low profile lcg bumper and chassis braces. 

The holes were slightly off for an Axial skid. But only a 0.2 - 0.5mm so with a small amount of filing bolts up nice. 

Bumper mount holes will need drilling for an Axial bumper mount. 

I haven't used the ali skid as the gearbox I used has a delrin skid. 

I'm going to try out a Rhino outrunner on this.

£28!? That’s crazy cheap, especially including shipping!  Looks the part, bet it can do the business too.  You’re gonna need extra storage for all these rigs 😃

I was looking at a few to replace one and it came up on a deal, so proper bargain 👍

I put up a few big shelves for my rigs. I do need so sell a few.

Got the electronics in. The etronix servo I had fitted died for next to nothing so I've replaced it with a 9imod 35kg, very good for the money. 

I've got a newer rhino motor, A RM-S12 1900KV. It's small 35mm x 24mm and 84 grams so good for lcg rigs. And 2-4s rated. 

Plenty of torque, power and super smooth low down. I've not even plugged this one in to check the settings. 

I gave it a little test on the crawler course, the motor and esc barely get warm. 

I borrowed a bumper from the scx10 pro parts stash. Another injora part. 

I've chopped some of the body. It's going to need another chunk off the front end because of the bumper. 

I've got brass portal weights front and rear but I'm going to test a bit more as is. Already seems very stable, probably from the weight of the the metal axles. 

The battery tray is a spare I had, didn't come with the chassis kit, the other side plate could be used. 

But for £28 I'm well impressed.
