Popular Post steephill Posted August 16 Author Popular Post Share Posted August 16 Been at it again. I've started on a ramp from the lower part of the garden up to the upper part. The ramp is 8ft long made from slate baton and branches cut to size. The only other route is down the steps, fine going down but can be a bit harsh on the drivetrain going up. So I'm making another route for the trail trucks and mini crawlers. After building the suspension bridges and the ramp I thought it's like mtb north shore but for rc crawlers. So I'm now building more around the lower part of the garden. I made a start yesterday. I'm going to build a ramp up to a platform to a suspension bridge made from chain, branches and some timber between the big shed and bike shed. I measured it yesterday and it's 10.5 metres long. Quite a big drop from the heighest point it's about 8ft and this bridge is 6 metres long. I thought about putting some sort of edge guard on but it's no fun when it's too safe.
