Low Battery (Voltage) alarm Recommendation

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I upgraded my RC boat from a now broken Temu special to a Voltanex SR48 brushless. Loved it but much to my disappointment and now I suspect to the loss of a battery it does not have a low battery warning alarm.

Firstly can anyone recommend a boat suitable (ie light) alarm for use with 3s lipos. Particularly one that won’t reduce run time too much.

Secondly if my batteries are below 20% now are they  bugg***d?

The readings are pictures below

thanks

Both of those batteries should be recoverable. Put them on a 0.5amp balance charge and then check the internal resistance, page 23 of the T100 manual. Depending on the pack size it should be below 10 milliohms per cell.

For the lipo alarm, the generic ones from ebay are pretty good, the main issue is the balance lead can pop off so make sure you secure the wiring.
