steephill
@Gaz! I had a few 200/300 discovery's. That was after a severe drowning. I remember taking it to the jet wash. Opening all the doors, get inside and jet wash all the mud out.

Popular Post Davy Crockett
Long story but ended up with another FMS Discovery. As with my other, repainted it and added rear LED lights. Few minor mods, mostly cosmetic. Also (as usual!) made a lightbar from keychain torch (hidden under 'box')

Davy Crockett
Haven't spent much time but token gesture of an interior. Not the greatest but it'll do the job
RC4WD fan
Ok guys you’re welcome to call me whatever you want but what’s the difference between the FMS fcx24 and the fcx24m ? From what I can tell the fcx24m has metal chassis rails and straight axles instead of portals is that it ? I’m looking at getting the disco when back in stock is everything else the same can you use the fcx24 parts on them and what not ? Gaz!
Do you mean the little yellow Land Rovers ?? if so, they are smaller than the regular fcx24 (power wagon, blazer, etc.) the electrics could be similar but dont hold me to that… only fella i know who has/had both variations is @Davy Crockett so probably the best to answer that for you.

From what I’ve read there completely different but having a little look at my disco I’m starting to think I’m not going to be able to work on it being such small screws and everything might try and sell on and get a trx4m something a little bit bigger just got a load of brass bits as well 😞

Stripped the insulation back and soldered the LEDs in.... Job done

Popular Post RC4WD fan
Well been tinkering over the weekend and my disco now has the full brass treatment and metal drive shafts 😁 wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be working on it now doesn’t fall over easily anymore and has had a new coat of paint went with the sand interior option as I believe they only had a blue and sand colour interiors? just need to sort out the lights and wait till Christmas for the new wheels and tyres and it’ll be done 👍
