Here's a short video of the my tarantula crawler on the crawler course.

This particular section is very steep. Not many of my crawlers can do these few lines. For example non of my trx4s will do these lines with a body on,and even then they won't make most of them.

It's really steep for lcg rigs.

This shows how capable the little Trx4m's are...

Sorry mate, only just noticed that.

They drive quite similar but different, the kangaroo is a little lighter in weight. You can move it about that bit easier with throttle to reposition.I think the main difference is the brass wheels on the tarantula compared to steelies with brass rings on the kangaroo. The kangaroo was far to skitty without the brass rings.

But I do really like how both drive.

I've changed both to the 32% underdrive gears, I think they're perfect for crawling.

Looks good. How do you get on with the shockers?

They've been fine. I've got a few sets, all really smooth apart from the first set I bought, they stick a little.

I've had to use the stiffer springs on some of the hard body trucks. The tarantula and kangaroo sag down nicely with the softer springs.

Where is your go to for stiffer springs please mate??

same here, i have 4 sets of the injora shocks, all built up the same with same oil and i have a “stickier” set too, how mad is that, lol.
