@Lone-wolf I'm sure you'll be impressed when you take it out.

I think it's a good looking mini lcg rig👍

It's not just you who struggles with the little body clips. I do too.

Injora do magnetic mounts for scx24 and a few other mini crawlers, I might look into seeing if any could work on the Utah. I hate those little bloody clips.

I have ordered magnets to make some mounts but im now feeling they might be to strong, may rethink what im gonna use but the clips have to go

I've got some for 1/10 stuff but it's too big.

Same plan as me then, the clips must go 👍

Fingers crossed this is gonna work, 10x3 round magnets with 3mm hole, had to slim down the body posts slightly as they are 3.5mm magnets tight fit but super glued in place and round magnets glued to inside of shell with epoxy, however the epoxy played up with screen print, but will be getting a new shell so this is a trial and error......bye bye fiddley clips

Good work @Lone-wolf👍.

I tried using epoxy for magnets on a hard body. My favourite method at the moment is hot glue gun, works a treat and drys in seconds.

I need to get some little magnets, I hate those little clips.

I just realised how big those wheels and tyres are maybe smaller tyres might improve the not tipping over ?

The tyres wont be scrubbed in yet tho but at end of video it did make it up that slab of rock :good:

@Lone-wolf Mine wasn't great out the box, but I'm comparing it to my modded Trx4m’s.

I did a test run with stock wheels and tyres and then tried steelies with brass rings and 64mm hyrax copies, huge improvement.

I'm currently testing 1" brass wheels with injora swamp claws.

I'm going to test 1.3s after that.

I've also added droop springs to stock shocks to keep the ride height down.

I have ordered a set of injora black Brass 1.0 wheels, retty heavy ones and some injora 62x22mm tyres, hopefully it will improve it, if not might add some resale value to it

Slightly of topic but looks like the new Hobby plus 6x6 flatbed truck is getting closer to being released, im really hoping for 2 speed trans, all metal gear set oil dampers and pretty sure it has the portal axles

Thanks for that, I can really see me getting one in the future, and would want to put my own painted body on one
