It should handle it fine, but Id definitely want a bearing kit with it!

yep i built it with full bearing kit, and locked rear diff, open front diff. Waiting for the rally body shell to come in stock then i can get cracking and do it box art

The 13t blue 540 can finned motors were commonly used in the states for M chassis. They were very popular over here for a while, they won't ever set any speed records however for under £20 delivered you can't go wrong - https://a.aliexpress.com/_mritdw4

If you don't want that then the red 3650 surpass motors are incredible value for money. A lot of the budget speed runners use them and yeld very good results.

For 1/10 bashing you can't go far wrong with these motors.

the blue finned F540 motor is what i have just black and 3300kv, im good to go with it just a bit concerned the transmission might strip out, of course avoid heavy braking and dont slam from forward to reverse

project sort of on hold, ordered the fiat clear body as it was due in stock in 2 days, but already been put back to some time in December, may end up an xmas project

That's a good reason to get some upgrades ordered 🤣

If you haven't already got these then one piece carbon arms, CVDs  and TL01 speeds gears would be nice additions. PJ has now started offering cheaper shipping (less than £15) and they arrive within 1-2 weeks.

Nice idea but i have always found the MF-01x to be a nice chassis as it is, im dreading doing the new body but it will be worth it once done, i did remove the 1040esc this morning that in all honesty has done stirling service, its now got a 1060 in it as im sticking with brushed....i do need to decide if i keep the M06 hopped up chassis or move it on though
