LondonNeil
Any thoughts? Any owners? Any experiences? I know this isn't talbot and a concrete skate park but this video shows some impressive performance and durability, it also seems unbelievable value. Surely if this durability and performance turns out to be the norm then trucks and truggies costing twice a much (xmaxx, kraton) are going to look very overpriced. I might have found a Christmas present for myself I can nearly afford/justify....ish.

MrCake
I know they are not as popular as other brands but I like that Corally have made quite a few changes over the last few years to their models, and I do think this is good value.
Stormbringer
They also have excellent customer service
Darren Frosty
The new spark buggy is a nice evolution from the Radix/Python too.
MrCake
Any Kagama owners on here yet? I am seriously tempted to pick one up for Xmas as I have a spare 6s system ready to go in a new vehicle.

Tug
355 for the roller? That's good value.
BashingBrian
As I have mentioned on another forum, Aldo truly beat the hell out of his Kagama, there is no Arrma on this planet that box stock would have taken that amount of abuse. If it wasn't for the fact I have a modded XTR and Radix, I would buy a Kagama without hesitation, Corally as a brand is going in the right direction to really give Traxxass and Arrma a good run..!! Their customer service is certainly better than both Traxxass and Arrma on this side of the pond..
MrCake
I have a roller in my possession! Kind of shocked how large it is as my only other 1/8 is a FTX DR8 and it makes that look more like 1/10.. Quality seems really nice although it looks like the centre diff is leaking as there is oil around it. Won't get to look at this properly until the weekend and in theory it was supposed to stay boxed up for Xmas!

Partydaz
Treated myself to one of these for my Birthday 😁 got a roller version incoming in red ( cuz red ones go faster ) going slap a Hobbywing QUICRUN WP 8BL150 G2 esc with a Hobbywing 4274 g2 2000kv motor in it. Any recommendations for gearing ? I hear these things are bit too fast 😅 so will stick to 4s for first few runs. Are fans needed for the motor on these as the stock one doesn't have a fan on the motor if so I will get one ordered up before I fry my new motor 😬. MrCake
I run mine on 6s but did deliberately go down to 11t as knew they were very quick out of the box. I run a fan on mine as it does still get toasty but I like to cool most of my rigs. Even on 11 tooth, it is still hard to go full throttle without the nose coming up.
Partydaz
It's coming tomorrow so I'll be giving it a blast over the weekend if the weather keeps nice but all this rain is ruining my bash spots 🥲 , don't wanna get the new addition to dirty yet 😄. Yeah I'll order up a 11T but see how it goes on 4s first then go big on 6 😅
MrCake
You might already know but the stock wheel nuts will fall off fairly quickly. I got some different serrated ones but they do the same if you don't keep an eye during sessions.
Partydaz
Aye I've already seen few videos of them flying off 🤣.
Partydaz
Got it all set up now the drive is very smooth and very quiet doesn't sound like a bag of spanners in a tumble dryer like the other RCs I own 😀. Servo saver is very soft, going have to sort that out the sexy new brushless servo I have put in it is not being used to its full power!! 😅. Only driven it around the garden make sure it all works, going for its first run tonight got 4s and 6s packs ready.
Stormbringer
once you get the servo saver to how you want it put a little thread lock on the threads as it can sometimes back off in use
Partydaz
It's cool having a servo saver I can adjust. Last few RCs I have had to swap springs out or put washers on top the spring get it stiffer. The synco 4 I haven't had to touch all summer and that's had a hammering, maybe I should check the servo saver make sure it's ok 😬 Edited September 17 by Partydaz
Partydaz
Bloody heck this thing is fast as ****!!!! deffo need gear this down 😅 little blip of the throttle coming up on a jump and it's air borne. Speed and suspension are top notch but this servo saver is well naff thing has the turning circle of a boat 😐, I cannot adjust the collar it's too hard get grip on it so going have to take the thing out. When I get the steering sorted it's going be fun drifting this about 🙂
Stormbringer
to adjust ours we use a flat bladed screwdriver and use it to turn the knurled nut
Darren Frosty
there's a little hole in the chassis you poke something through to lock the nut then you move the wheels left or right to tighten it.

Thanks I'll have a look later. The screw driver method works but going stick some felt tape on the end of the flat end see it stops it taking chunks out the collar 😅 Seems my steering issues was the servo cable getting pinched when I put the lid on the receiver box 😬, quick soldering job and it's ok now.
Partydaz
Had today off so took the kagama out for a bash got 4 x 6s pack in and it's a right weapon 😃, nose planted it a few times and had the near infinite cartwheel of doom after a horrible landing. Only thing that's broke is the rear wing mount seems it's pulled the back screws through the mount, I'll have a play see what I can bodge together make it less likely to pull it's self through in future. Needs a fan on the motor got 104°C, manual for this hobbywing motor says keep it under a 100°C and I found putting the rear clips like the pic I uploaded help stop the body clips ripping into the body. Also I used plumbers tape on the wheel threads and went three times around with the tape and the nuts get a good grip 😉 . Not had any nuts flying off or coming loose. Overall I am well chuffed with it goes like lightning, lands like a champ and handles good 👍. Needs a dust protector these open chassis love getting rocks stuck in them, had one get wedged under the centre diff and locked it up and sounded horrendous 🫣. wolfie1
Only issue with a dust protector is temps, i put 1 on 1 of mine and i melted the centre plastic diff housing Edited September 19 by wolfie1
