Penn Posted April 30 Share Posted April 30 Appreciate I'm reviving an old topic but I also have a Hobao Hyper VS buggy (non-pro) that I won as a roller mid last year. I built it with a 4S spektrum system from an outcast 4S and it's been absolutely brilliant. As per other comments, I upgraded to CNC hinge pin holders as I snapped the front plastic one immediately and upgraded the front shock tower to the CNC version as that was also damaged. Diffs wise I run 7K/10K/7K and the stock suspension was not cutting it for me, far too soft with poor damping. I ended up with 610cSt shock oil (TLR 45 WT) and the stiffer orange springs which totally changed how capable it was and I've not changed anything since.
