Noice. 

 

I had a renaissance with mine last year, really loved it. It has cable front brakes which make a huge difference to the stopping distance. 

 

I'd look for better rear tyres, those won't do much. 

 

What gearing are you on?

Hostile MX is the usual go to, or used to be. Don't run them on road, you'll destroy 70 quids worth of rubber in short order. 

 

I run stockers up front, they're OK as it's a basher. 

 

With the 1100 motor, stock gearing is a good place to start. I'm on an old 780kv, so 17/57 works well on mine.

Not on 8S it won't, should be close to cracking 50....... with a tail wind. Pretty sure I clocked 37 on 6S with 17/57.

Looking at that set up myself for the bundle from model sport. Stock gearing ok on this set up?
