@Gaz!@Gaz! Lovely and smooth. All the injora trx4m axles I've got have been the same.

The laydown servo doesn't work with stock or the injora lcg chassis according to the injora site.

They do a Trx4m universal chassis that works with the lay down servo for all Trx4m's (apparently).

I managed to get a laydown servo on my tarantula, took a little work.

I think I'm going to try the diamond axles on the kangaroo first. Worst case scenario I'll cut the front rails off partially.

Does your lad have yeah racing shocks on his tarantula?

He has them on both his Defender and Tarantula, but in 58mm, lovely shocks and not too much more than the Injora offerings, saying that i have a set from T-real incoming, for a change and wanted to see how they compare.

even the Injora shocks on my Defender and Chevy are miles apart, the defender is buttery smooth where the Chevy is lumpy, both using the same 20-30wt juice.

Just started to look at using the Injora mb100 ESC, ruddy thing does not have an out for LED lights, so guess they will either come of balance plug or RX

I usually connect to a spare channel on the receiver.

it did get over some tricky bits there mate :good:

I thought it would of struggled a bit.

It's got brass wheels, hubs, front diff cover, so it's not stock. I think the Defender bodies look good.

I have installed the Injora mb100 ESC, along with HotRC DS4-A right handed radio, learnt something new with radio, it has a cruise button you press to set throttle speed, found each time you pull throttle while on cruise it increases set speed.

The ESC is very nice just need to sort wires a bit and get lights plugged back in but need to shorten lighting wires, the traxxas esc and radio will be going up for sale

Managed to sort lighting wires and got things a bit tidy, so for now the little F-150 is all done, but not ruling out the fancy Injora alloy axles, but that is a big spend

Cool😎👍

The axles are well made, I've built serval sets, everyone has been butter smooth.

The stock width fully built are £53 a pair from Injora.

Fitted the Treal shocks to my Defender, (pic will follow) oooh they are buttery smooth but do require filling with oil, greasing the “o” rings at the bottom of the shock body and everything just needs nipping up as they aren’t tight.

on the bench, im very impressed with build quality, looks and how how smooth they are, included are stiffer springs but for now ive opted for the ones that came on the shocks.

lol, so after that last post, i remembered that my lad wanted me to build his up. Well that took a while, i was questioning my sanity and plenty of head scratching to find three of the shocks out of his purple set had approx 10mm longer shafts with the fourth shock having the same size as the green set of mine.

he has just messaged the seller and i guess he will want pictures so ill grab a couple too. Just awaiting his first reply.

at one time i would have been raging now at this issue, whether mine or my lad’s, must be Injora mellowing me out :topbanana:

Back on the 1.3 wheels with injora xhx tyres and fitted high clearance links.

I gave it a little test last night and the crawler course was wet through and quite slippy in places. It did brilliant, I'm well impressed with the performance.

Little update on the T-real shock debacle.

saturday my lad received a email from T-real asking to see pictures of the problem with the shock shafts, anyhoo, on receiving our pics, they are sending out a complete set f.o.c. Can’t really argue with that.

so the plan is to source some shock shafts and have a back-up set in the spares.

these are a couple of the pics we sent,

Ooh forgot to mention, managed to get a set of these wheels,

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134709798199?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=n8HqH7Q2Qn6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=pMPmbDCMTvi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I didn’t pay that for them though…..and pleased to say, they work with Injora tyres!! At last another compatible brand (always good).

also managed to get a as new set of Injora 64x24? Hyrax looking tyres, they have made their way to my Tarantula.

i promise some pics of the fleet asap, i need to give them a dust down first.
