Fitted a battery tray with a receiver/ esc mounting plate on the IR40.

I was going to make something but I found this from Injora, about 8 quid.

I didn’t really like the esc on show on the rear.

Comes with two lengths of aluminium posts for different thickness batteries.

The top plate has several mounting positions.

Injora MB100 esc question, where are you guys mounting the RX in conjunction with this esc, i figure i will make a plasticard mount for the esc, just not sure where RX is gonna fit

If you're going to mount in stock esc position, my receiver fits next to the esc.

I use radiolink mini receivers for the mini crawlers, dumbo do them too.

Injora do a double deck battery tray, plenty of room for the esc mentioned and a normal size receiver.

this is for the Hi Trail so no room for double deck, i will be using HotRC DS4-a the RX is about same size as a reedy one , only reason i am going with this esc is to use this radio and get away from the HUGE traxxas TQ

The double deck tray replaces the original battery tray and esc / receiver plate sits above. You should have plenty of room in your F150 cab👍

on Hi trail, esc sits directly under the load bed of the F-150 truck and not enough room for the RX above, so looks like RX will have to go in cab area but will just have to make something

what changes did you do ?

Increased the wheelbase with k10 / high trail rear links.

Lowered the ride height.

Changed from 1.3 aluminium wheels to 1.0 brass wheel and 64mm tyres.

Saw them on Injora site, my the do look sweet as!!

Is everything free and smooth?? Only thing i saw was it would benefit the carbon chassis more than a stock Trx4m chassis with that servo.

salavating now in anticipation to see what these go under, that 2 speed gearbox would tie in nicely with your axles :good:

@Gaz!@Gaz! Lovely and smooth. All the injora trx4m axles I've got have been the same.

The laydown servo doesn't work with stock or the injora lcg chassis according to the injora site.

They do a Trx4m universal chassis that works with the lay down servo for all Trx4m's (apparently).

I managed to get a laydown servo on my tarantula, took a little work.

I think I'm going to try the diamond axles on the kangaroo first. Worst case scenario I'll cut the front rails off partially.

Does your lad have yeah racing shocks on his tarantula?
