Losi has recently brought us the scale-realistic Hammer Rey 4WD "King of the Hammers" desert racer but about a decade earlier there was another interesting product, the XXX-SCB Short Course Buggy.

 

Travel back in time 10 years with this "Retro review" where we take a nostalgic look at this 1:10 scale 2WD RTR race inspired buggy from Losi.  What did you get for your money back then?  In this video, an overview of the buggy and all its features is presented and then we power it up and take it for a run on the beach to see it in action.  We also look at some of the alternative variants that were offered at the time as well as upgrade packages.

 

If any of you actually owned one of these, what did you think of it and do you still run it?
