Little but more progress made today.

Got my custom side boxes from kktruckstore so fitted the longest one that will house the battery.

The smaller one will hold the ESC but I cant fit that until my fuel tank arrives as they need to be attached at the same time.

Side box number one fitted.  Now to wait on the fuel tank arriving so I can do the other side 👌🏻

Cheers mate

All going well I should start work on installing the actuators for the bed this weekend and get that operational real soon.

Thats a lovely clean install 😎 Are the actuators anything unusual? Im quite tempted at a tipping bed, but I’m either looking in the wrong place or informations sparse.

Another epic build mate look forward to the working video.

Hopefully that won't be too far away now, just need a a battery and suitable radio system to get it up and running.

They're nothing too out of the ordinary. These ones are 6V and plug directly into the receiver to pull their power and functions which keeps the install tidy, combined they have the ability to push/pull up to in excess of 20kg so perfect for a loaded flatbed.

The downside is they aren't cheap at £60-70 a piece.

There are other options available with the most common and cheaper ones being 12v units that require separate control boards etc.

Beyond that it's just a case of understanding what length/torque you require

If you want more info I can drop you some links and stuff.
