How can I use a roto start 2 with my savage that has a nitro start gun shaped starter.

Hi everyone

i have an old savage nitro which uses the nitro starter gun shaped starter kit  which uses a hex shaft

It’s broken now and couldn’t find it anywhere online to purchase.

instead  found the roto start 2 which uses the dog bone shaped shaft.

can I use it with a bit of modification with the hex shaft? Or is there another back plate that I need?

your help much appreciated

The rotostart 2 comes with a backplate. If the back of your engine isnt weirdly shaped it should fit fine.
