PraetoR
Shouldn't this be a 6x8? The front wheels aren't driven, are they?

Don't see why not - The 6x6 and other 8x8 have driven front wheels - the driveshaft for the front axle comes from towards the rear of the gearbox Also; https://store.rc4wd.com/114-8x8-tonnage-heavy-haul-truck-rtr.html Mentions "Remote Lockable Front and Rear Axles (Locking Differential)" 6x6 Layout This is a strange caveat for buyers though "Payment Information: Due to the value of this product, the only forms of payment that will be accepted are Affirm and Bank Transfer. Please do not choose Credit Card or PayPal when checking out as we will cancel the order. Feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any questions." You'd have thought including insured shipping would inspire more confidence in it arriving intact 😳 Lesu also have a similar 8x8 chassis Edited June 7, 2022 by TWINSET

Real lorries don't have driven front wheels, do they?

MiddlofMoRon
After reading the comments and thinking about it, my uneducated opinion is, for those that like scale realism it should be what the lorries are. For those that don't mind, it can be all wheel drive. I think I would like all wheel. I've seen videos of them on a course and they like to go straight going uphill. The rear wheels over push the front wheels. Just an observation! I'm not a expert 🤓!
MiddlofMoRon
Really an awesome looking vehicle! Would love to take it apart 🤓! I can't stop coming back 🤓! I've watched videos of these in action. Really cool stuff. I'm having fun today. I found my old Slash in storage. The chassis is busted in half 🤓 but some nice parts are still there. Would love to see a video of yours in action. Edited July 17, 2022 by MiddlofMoRon
