NOFX
Ello. I dug out the outlaw for the first time since last summer & the esc's dead. Any ideas why it'd die when not in use. It's a trackstar 120a brushlessย
Nitroholic
Because it's a Trackstar ..... ย Or,ย on a more sensible note, it could be fluff settling on the internals keeping damp in there and allowing corrosion to happen. This could disrupt or short a track on the board, leading to a dead ESC.
NOFX
It worked well until I put it away.ย It's also waterproof ๐ค
Redback
you 100% its the esc? tried it in another rig for example, check the cables etc. I'll blame the fact its in an outlaw for it being broken ๐ hehe
zlab
About a year ago i bought trackstar waterproof ESC from HK, it released the magic smoke in the first week of use... sent it back and got a replacement one (process that takes almost a monthย ๐). The new one lasted about 5 packs... Got tired of it and demanded a refund, i bought ezrun MAX10SCT after that and it works perfectly.... That trackstar piece of crap is worth nothing and only good for the trash bin...
Kpowell911
Honest answer is its a Trackstar, theyre very very unreliable ESCs
