The Max4 HV ESC is the most sought-after ESC on the market. Its dynamic and dominant specifications meet the needs of power-hungry users. It has a strong output power with excellent linearity at low speed and is operating on full-sensored mode.

Powerful Acceleration &
Abundant Output

Extremely powerful and extremely low temperature

The internal circuitry board of the ESC has been integrated to use a copper thermal conduction sink.
These are built into high-reliability thermal systems to ensure that it is always in good thermal condition while supplying a maximum output current of 300A.

300A

High Reliability & Durability

Max4 HV is the most durable(hardware) and advance(software) ESC on the market. The ESC is built using the highest quality of materials available to withstand extreme weather /surface conditions. Together with the most advanced software developed by our in-house engineers, we have created multiple overloading functions to protect the ESC from damage.

Applicable to All Weather Track Conditions

The IP-67 waterproof system guarantees excellent waterproofing and dust-proofing protection. The whole power system can drive on a variety of surfaces including muddy, sandy, icy, snowy and water without damaging the power unit.

Programming / Upgrading /Data reading wirelessly

With Hobbywing's OTA module and smartphone (with the HOBBYWING HW Link App installed), the user can program

parameters, upgrade firmware, and heck relevant data of the ESC.

Programming / Upgrading / Data reading wirelessly

Real-time data & data logging function, easy to get the power running status.

After connecting the OTA module box, turn on real-time data recording function to access the operating status.

Capacitor Thermal Protection

Capacitor thermal protection implemented by the ESC will effectively prevent capacitors from exploding and causing irreversible damage to the ESC due to overload.

Super Internal BEC

The built-in switch mode BEC with a maximum output of 25A and voltage adjustable from 6V to 8.4V (step:0.1V) allows the use of various standard servos, high voltage servos.

Built-in spark-proof design

The built-in spark-proof circuitry can prevent damaging the battery connectors as well as physical injury (to finger) caused by strong electrical sparks upon connecting to a “high voltage” battery pack (5S/6S/7S/8S).

Advanced and Secure Electronic Switch

The all-new advanced and secured electronic switch features a longer lifespan compared to the standard switch. The dust, dirt, and waterproof switch housing ensures reliable and longer life and eliminates unwanted damages. Heavy impact or harsh surfaces will no longer affect and damage the switch. Users will be able to enjoy bashing their RC cars.

About time! Be good if Losi could do a updated 5ive B or T to go with it, but from what I can workout the 1/5th scale market is pretty dead….

Fifth scale in general or leccy fifth?

I've only ordered the ESC, the motor they're offering has known issues with the rotor magnets becoming detached. But who knows, that may have been fixed.

Big oof, hope they get it sorted, but trust the customer to push a hobbywing to explode, thats pretty good going haha

Then I take that back.

Still not interested in other motors, I wouldn't know where to get mounts for them. It's hard enough getting mounts for the 58mm cans.

My ESC has shipped.

Tested, just a short street run, but it's typical Hobbywing, does its job, and does it well.

Is your motor sensored, id be keen to know how sensored runs and what the low end torque is like, eg will it crawl like an axe?

No, sensorless.

Will it crawl? It's got very good low speed control, so if you turn the drag brake to max, it might crawl fairly well. Do remember that I'm not into crawling and haven't even driven one, so probably not the best person to ask.
