Never even heard of these but googled it and it does look good. Looking forward to seeing it finished and tested.

Guessing you already saw this?

I am not sure if that Lancia body has been updated.  It is the one I have but that spoiler basically explodes the first time you roll it which is a real shame.

I have now seen this https://www.makeitbuildit.co.uk/killerbody-lancia-delta-hf-integrale-16v-finished-body-rally-24484 which looks to be slightly different and ditches the roof spoiler and has 2 x vents on the roof.  Might be a better option but then weirdly the mirrors are updates as well and they look ripe to snap off compared to the ones on the original.

This is another body which should fit perfectly   https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/killerbody-body-alfa-romeo-2000-gtam-red-all-in-ready-to-use-390156

Mmmm, that Alpha looks good.
I really love/hate choosing bodies. Spend aaages being indecisive…… then smash it to bits after 2 runs. 🤷‍♂️

I was thinking something from the golden age of rally. Fiat 131 looks good.

Pretty sure landl have a shell. Just not sure if it would fit.

I've got one of those Alfa GTAM bodies, apart from the sides mirror it's pretty durable, I think the rounded shape helps a lot. Like most of these you can fit lights to the front and rear plastic mouldings.

Got any photos of how that looks on the PTG-2.  Tempted to get one myself and have a couple of bodies for it.

Just in case anyone likes pics of differentials (I mean, who doesn't?).

You can maybe get an idea of the quality of the castings from these. I think they are pretty good.

Meanwhile, still figuring out body options. This quite appeals:

Although, weirdly, I've come to quite enjoy painting the the shells myself. At this price though it's a bargain (when you factor in clear shell plus paint...).

Couldn't resist starting the next bag.

Ohh yeah, which reminds me. Not wishing to bash Tamiya (we all love Tamiya) but there is something slightly haphazard about the way they bag up their kits. Here, every labeled bag contains all the parts (bolts etc) for that section of the build. You don't have to jump back and forth between bags. Small thing but nice if you're building the kit in stages.

Anyway, assembled a drive pinion. Tiny job but delighted to find all metal parts, oversized bearing on the pinion itself and rubber shielded bearings throughout. These would typically be 'hop-ups' on other kits. The size of the bearing on the pinion for example is larger than that on my Losi Baja. Hopefully this all helps with durability.

The diameter of the pinion gear itself is 18mm. This is huge for a 1/10th scale rally car.

Sorry no, I had it on a Schumacher Mi1 touring car. It looked right with a slightly higher ride height, higher than the usual 5mm or so for racing touring cars.

I can't work out what parts these share with the LC racing 1/10th buggy line, but they do look offroad sized.

That’s a beautiful build there 👍

Thanks. It was also a really easy build 🙂

Parts availability will be the make/break for this car but the kit and design are superb. Nice to finally have an alternative to the Tamiya XV-0x for 1/10th rallying too.

Brilliant build mate and the body is stunning 👌

Thanks. Only wish I could take credit for the body. All credit to Craggy Design on that one. Well worth a look at his FB page.
