US MAP is $390 which is £290. Seems high for a brushed model, compared to Associated's offroad vehicles. Shorty battery only is strange too. 

 

I'm guessing a kit or pro roller version of this will be released, it's got spaces for roll bars, adjustable toe straps, adjustable links etc.

Makes the hpi Subaru rally car look like a good deal. 😅 at least that is brushless or nitro.

 

I think stupar hit the nail on the head. These branded rcs are 50% rc and 50% licensing fee.
