motor&esc

DEL 69

Ah the surpass hobby saga. If you're going to get one, don't change the connectors to XT90 like I did, then shove 6S thru it on a 2200kv 4274 motor. It won't last long.

Someone pointed out that when I changed to dual XT90s I took away the inherent current limiter of the deans (which if is true, is totally bad practice as it's advertised as a 6S ESC)...Mine was fine on 3S, back then I didn't have 4S to test.

I totally appreciate not everyone wants to spend big money, how about a Hobbywing WP-SC8? £45 brand new I've seen them, I run one on my wife's Hyper 7, on 3-4S, it's not skipped a beat and it's 120a rating is fine.

Good shout on the BL150 @tomr, I have one in my Losi LST!

I prefer the Hobbywing overall, more reliable and durable, it's programmable and you have support service for it.
