Kyosho Mad Van red?

In a bid to save money, I'm tempted to paint my Lunch Box in that lovely Mad Van red. What colour do you think would be closest and what colour base layers should I use?

 

Tamiya TS85 Bright Mica Red  looks quite close, but I'm not sure it'll work on the shell
