As title really, any decent spots I could visit near /around Pennycross area? Daughter has a match there tomorrow so I thought take the trucks and me and the lad can have a blast around somewhere nearby for an hour or so. Thanks

Well this area turned out to be pretty awful, loads of suitable areas but as always they were all inaccessible - fenced off, looking like wormwood scrubbs. Not used for anything else, and clearly been that way for some time... can't possibly let ordinary tax payers enjoy themselves in the fresh air with their family. Grrrr...🙄

 

Anyway, assuming anybody from Plymouth actually looks at this thread, what's the big (quarry?) area like at Elburton, near a lake? Accessible?
