try to look up parts for your model  as i don't think you can normally just get one bit and solder it on.

in the past i have just soldered a switch on  just be sure it is rated for mains power.  also you could just bridge the gap (depends if having it on overrides all over functions.)

that maybe beyond my skill, any chance you could circle which part to solder/bridge together please?

Can you see if the switch only made one contact  or did it have more than just one pair of contacts

nothing really   you could try ebay  the people selling parts for your one  just ask if they have the main pcb    as from the looks of it  that part didn't seem to go bad

good idea, thank you again 🙂

I believe that comes as part of the pcb board and believe it or not they come Unprogrammed so your need to get it programmed last I saw they where £92 plus programming I’ll be honest on the Swan condenser dyers it’s probably not worth fixing.

You can bypass the switch but unless your up on pcb boards switches etc not something I’d recommend you do yourself.

in my head, i had it all worked out, get the part and solder it on, done! or buy the pcb and swap them over then done!

are you saying just buy another one?

For the cost of that repair and the age of the machine I’d probably say get a new one 👍

I've got a 20 year old condenser that doesnt want to die, i dont think you need all the latest gimmicks, keep it simple, on/off button, button for 2 heat settings, dial to select time, and heat pump dryers arent worth it.

Agreed don’t get a heat pump dryer they take a month on sundays to dry anything but they are cheap to run 😂😂
