CUPRABullet
If you use the blue one it's designed to come undone again with a socket - not a permanent seal - cheap too. Thread Lock GP Blue Industrial Grade, 10g (farnell.com)
CUPRABullet
Been a bit quiet in here for a while so... Had no issues with loose wheel nuts since using Loctite so that's good. Had to buy a pair of Proline Badlands as the MT10 wheels/tyres were out of stock after stripping a hex in one of the wheels. They are really grippy ( were spraying me with sand when I ran the truck!) but have made it it a bit understeery. Have swapped then to the front and used the wider hubs to give more clearance - hoping to get back the power slide hooligan it was when using all four MT10 tyres. Also fitted the Associated alloy shock upgrade and it is really smooth on landing jumps etc. Will report back on the handing after the wheel swop round. If anyone has a spare standard MT10 wheel going spare please let me know 🙂
C tay
So I’ve had mine for maybe 4months now and only ran it twice due to braking an arm on my first run. Which I then waited For months for the rpm arms to be back in stock. After fitting the arms, I took it out for a bash only to be let down by the servo. It’s jittering and truck goes where it wants to. What is this problem? I did unplug the stock servo, and plugged in a 25kg banggood servo. The result was the same, Could it be the receiver box? Any help will be much appreciated, I’m still new to the hobby cheers. Edited September 3, 2021 by C tay
CUPRABullet
Can't really offer any advice as this is my first RC model as well. Can only suggest going through the instructions in the user manual for setting up the radio/receiver etc? Failing that post something in the general RC section as there will be people there with far more expertise.
CUPRABullet
So, swapping the Badlands to the front (and using the wider hub option) has turned the MT10 back into the drifting, donuting, powersliding monster I prefer. Just so much fun and spraying dust and dirt in all directions. Still impressed with how smooth the suspension is as well after the shock upgrade 🙂
Tabbie
Unfortunately my rival mt10 steering has stopped working is this simply the steering servo? The motor runs but no movement to the steering. Is it worth trying to claim under warranty or pointless? Thank you for any advice shame as its definitely our favourite truck. Try swapping the ESC and servo plugs on the rx to fault check. That will confirm if its the servo.

Jordan bull
I just bought one second hand 1hrs use from new. my truck when turning makes a very loud screeching buzzing noise and sometimes when it’s still I turn radio of it just makes loud screeching noise until turn off when I turn the wheels by hand sounds very strange like full of grit but it’s not
SWF
Hi Can you post a video of the problem? It could be anything from incorrect binding of radio, seized bearings or incorrect gear mesh, a video would help a lot. Cheers Steve

You anent going to get a better truck for close to that price. Granite is crazy tough, maybe even tougher than the mt10 sometimes but they have stupid price tags on them now unfortunately.

Popular Post Alvarez
Have been an MT10 owner for a few months now. I honestly absolutely love this truck, it's certainly my go to basher. I have done a few upgrades since buying it new from MS Arrma body pin bungies as the stock ones went missing on its first day out so this stop them going flying on a roll over. Replaced stock battery straps for Arrma 3S straps as the stock ones were not really long enough to hold my 3S lipos tightly. Replaced stock Reedy ESC and motor for Hobbywing Max 10 3300kv ESC + motor combo, simply so I have more customisability in the way it behaves also even though the kv ratings are the same comapred to the stock setup, the Hobbywing is way more punchy and temps are considerably better. The Reedy setup liked to run VERY hot on 3S. Replaced stock Reedy servo for a 25kg Banggood special. Stock receiver replaced with my favoured Spektrum 3ch DSM which I use in all my models. Dusty motors chassis shroud and shock socks because I hate having to clean out dirty chassis! (medium shroud fits like a glove) Just fitted but haven't tested yet RPM front and rear arms, I broke the front left arm on its last outing by clipping a tree root which tore the arm out and bent up the front hinge pin alloy braces (you can just about see it in the photo where its slightly tweaked) i'll replace this part in due time, it's functional as it is. The things an absolute tank as it is though and really easy to drive even on 3S, it loves to pop wheelies and I rarely go over half throttle in general use. Handling wise around turns is insanely good! the addition of the included front and rear sway bars with a centre diff makes this thing drive like a proper racing buggy and not the monster truck it is. Yet on the loose dirt is easy to slide the back out and get some serious drifts going. What this thing really feels at home on is a skate park or BMX track, the air control it has is mental. a little blip on the throttle will have it backflipping with ease, a tap of the brake can stop rotation instantly or nose drive it if your not careful. On the BMX jumps I was able to pull a double backflip and a triple front flip no sweat. Awesome truck. Short roughly cut video of it hitting the BMX jumps doing some flips just to run the battery pack down after I had the Knightrunner on a trail walk.
Popular Post James.S
Looks awesome mate, and nice video I've liked the look of these trucks for ages. And seen how durable they are on many different videos. Was gonna get one a few weeks ago but then saw the announcement for the new 1/8 scale version, the MT8. So holding out for that now & hopefully it's just as good as the 10's
