.AJ.
Thatโs the RX in, I decided to ditch the HH bypass and lower the BEC voltage to 7v, the dig servo seems happy enough at that voltage, I also used a Y lead to connect up the dig servo so I could plug the light bar into it..... ย

.AJ.
The case went together really well, one thing I would prefer is cap head hardware, that way you can threadlock everything really well and have no worries about getting the screws out againย ย ย
stimpy
Great looking Capra. ย Really like the look of these and was considering one as a C3 rig but they do list as quite wide. What does yours come in at width wise? I had assumed that one could run some different offset wheels though I guess the portals size will be the limitation here unless you used a 2.2 rim maybe?.. Popular Post Bix
Had my Capra outย again recently with a fair few changes made since last time out. It nowย has a 13t Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport motor, 11t pinion,ย Vitavon front portal covers, Pitbull Rock Beast XLs mounted on Chanquish wheels and some front and rear lightsย ๐ ย ย The motor is a little too fast really even with the reduced pinion size but tearing around when not crawling is fun tbh. Was going to install a 35t Torquemaster Expert but found it wasnโtย the smoothest on startup thanks to the Capraโs high gearing, that motor will find a home in mine or the boys Enduro so no problem there ๐๐ป ย Chanquish wheels are fantastic quality for the price and look great to my eyes, the Rock Beast XLs hooked up great even on wet sandstone and the included dual stage foams are pretty decent too. ย The rig itself continues to impress and pulled some lines my boys modified Enduro couldnโt keep up with, although the extra width of the axles did mean he could squeeze a few places I couldnโt ๐ ย The spot we went to deserves a mention which is in Tunbridge Wells. Itโs called wellington rocks and is some of the most challenging terrainย Iโve come across in Sussex and Surrey, itโs the sort of stuff the Capra is madeย for. Even once we started losingย daylight it still made for some cracking photo ops especially with all our lights installed. ย ย ย Cant wait to head back there hopefully in drier conditions where I reckon some even tougher lines will be doable! ย Ive got a few more bits incoming for the Capra with Brass Vitavon 3rd Members for both axles,ย a PowerHDย dig servo ย and Boom Racingย overdrive ring and pinionย for the front axle courtesy ofย @faffy123.ย Will share feedback on all the changesย once installed and run. ย For now hereโs a few more bonus pictures, really wished I had a better camera on me! ย ย

PaulHCumbria
I've just finished my Capra.ย This is my first rc car (rc anything, for that matter) in 40 years and I'm pleased with how it's turned out.ย As a total newbie I decided to keep it pretty standard to begin with. That way I can actually judge how much difference the mods make as I add them. I've not even fitted a dig. The one obvious mod I have gone for is SSD weighted portal covers. That seemed a no-brainer, even to me. I've also fitted super-soft purple springs up front (waiting for a second set for the rear). Apart from that, it's standard. Oh, and the wheels - I wasn't going to use the plastic wheels, so it's got steel SSDs with G8 compound Krawlers.ย ESC is Hobbywing 1080, Reedy Radon 5 slot 16 turn motor, Savox SW1210 32kg servo, 3s lipo.ย ย Edited May 18, 2020 by PaulHCumbria
