Bajadre
voltage difference? is that 4cell lipo? ranges from 14.8v to 16.8v full charged maybe the esc only handles upto 12v like the old battery

Fly In My Soup
Lipo is lithium... Lithium polymer In layman's terms... The small box (aka esc) that's connected to the motor will have a max voltage rating... Its likely to be roughly 12.5 volts... (3s) You're trying to plug in a 14.4v battery (4s) so your supplying it with too much voltage.... When this happens... Most esc will simply shut off to protect vital components from overheating/shorting out. So you need a 3s lipo.... Or other 12v battery

carp82
hello again i need little more help. I was looking for lipo battery with 3cell. i saw those 2. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-flightmax-8000mah-3s1p-30c-lipo-pack-xt90.html and https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-compact-6200mah-3s-40c-lipo-pack.html the first is bigger 8000mah than the second 6200mah. but the first has 30C and the second had 40C. what is this? if i buy the second battery with the 40C, is there any problem for my boat? How can i check that? Edited March 12, 2019 by carp82
