Baring in mind iv not stripped mine right down yet just done a few minor repairs to the general hinge / hinge (how do uou spell hindge?) Pin area . Bit it looks to do the same as an anti rollbar on a real car .. Bent my bulkhead this time (hlns1002) Was having fu9n with the two 2s then i put im my 3s and got a bit brave over the grass mound i was bashing and sent it cartwheeling through the air ,did pretty much the exact same thing friday to but closer to the ground and got away with just a bent rear trackrod . I get a bit of confidence on the 2s'es then put the 3s in and get a bit heavy handed on the throttle . At least i get to have a good tinker and clean up while im waiting for the parts i spose . Oh and ring up wheelspin and ask them if i can add a few more parts to saturday evenings order to avoid the extra postage . I'm sure the drivetrain is OK with 3S, but some trucks are better at withstanding higher speed prangs than others, in terms of peripheral damage / attachments etc. I speak from experience... I found the 3S battery to be fine, it is a bit too powerful so I had it dialed down a tad via the controller, just enough for max acceleration without it doing a wheelie. When dialled right down, it was too slow for my 5 year old boy who got bored. So the range of speed/acceleration limitation on even a 3S is more than wide enough. I would buy 3mm rods and cut them to length but i do not have the means to do so. Anything else that i should maybe order.. weak links? Feeling somewhat unlucky after the disaster that was the ZD Racing Pirates 2 (never ever again) but I'd ordered this 6 weeks ago. So I've ordered new ones from China, anyone know of a UK stockiest?
