3300kv with a 10BL60 or a sensored 13.5t like the Trackstar 13.5t & 80a Turbo ESC combo.

A cheap but cheerful ESC+motor powerhouse combo would be a Fire Pheonix 120a sensored with Trackstar, LRP, or my personal favorite the SkyRC Ares Pro V.3.

I run anywhere from 6.5t to 13.5t with and without metal gears. As long as you build the diffs well, use Tamiya Antiwear Grease inside the diff (not ON the diff inside the diff case, but INSIDE the diff). You can also get DF02 metal gears or just grab a TT01 diff case and gears for metal diff internal gears on the cheap, then possibly grab a gpm or Aliexpress metal ring gear and Propeller shaft input gears. Then you can run 8.5t - 10.5t on 3s but only with your suspension set up right or you will be flipping and crashing a LOT! Shim shim shim everything. Go check out "TMM's TT02/TT02B Garage - The Builds" by googling the quoted text. He will show you how to build a rock solid TT02, tips and tricks that have allowed one of my TT02 cars to run all plastic gears with a 7.5t motor on 3s without issues for 3+ years now! 😉
